Here we are after our surf lesson with Matt from Santa Barbara Seals. We were out on Campus Point near UCSB. He did a great job with us and we actually got up on the board (Jenn more than me). The second picture is of my feet (sorry Mom...I know it's gross). This is tar that comes up and gets on your feet as you walk through the ocean. And if you're wondering, it doesn't come off too easily.
