Cafe Nepenthe in Big Sur

Wonderful lunch spot with a view as nice as the people who work here. We had a great lunch and it's so nice to interact with so many pleasant people on this trip. Big Sur is gorgeous and we regret that it can't be adequately captured by our photography skills. So, come see it for yourself!

This is why I am afraid to visit the West Coast; I will never want to come back! This weekend we went to the ATL botanical gardens, and there was a focus on carnivorous plants. The Nepenthes (or pitcher plants) that collect water at the bottom of their "bladder" and combined with their own fluid, kill prey (insects, even rats and lizards). Hmmm...somehow this story is not resonating with those pictures. :)
